Shopify stores built by someone who runs several — one at $2M a year.

I don't just build stores and wave goodbye — I run several Shopify stores every day, including a $2M operation: 1,000+ SKUs, custom AI tools, email marketing, the works. Your store gets the same playbook.

01 Your website

Agency-look build. Half the agency price.

This is the shape of a online store build — fast, focused, wired to convert. It's a demo I made so you can see it, not a template I resell. Yours gets your work, your prices, your neighborhood.

  • One build at a time. Your project gets my full attention — not a junior team juggling twelve accounts.
  • One invoice. No payroll, no benefits, no agency markup. Cancel anytime.
  • Local. Charlotte, NC — not an agency reselling your project overseas.

Demo build — "Marlowe & Main" is fictional. The craft is not.

Full Shopify builds. Products, payments, shipping, taxes — live and taking orders, not "almost done" for three months.
B2B + DTC on one store. Wholesale pricing and consumer checkout coexisting cleanly — I run this exact setup today.
Custom tools where apps fall short. Product finders, AI chatbots, store locators — I've built all three for a store doing real volume.
Google Shopping feeds. Merchant Center wired correctly so your products show where buyers search.
Email that pays rent. Abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback — the automated flows that quietly do 20-30% of revenue.
AI-readable product data. Structured catalogs so AI assistants can recommend your products, not just your homepage.

"Ordered Tuesday, wrapped like a present, arrived Thursday."

Owner reply, same day: The wrapping is non-negotiable, Hannah. Thanks for the love.

02 Your Google Business Profile

The map pack is half your leads. I maintain it weekly.

Photos fresh, services listed, hours never stale, every review answered — usually same day. And the part most people miss: an actively maintained profile is one of the three signals AI engines check before they'll say your name out loud.

03 Your reviews

Reviews don't just happen. They're a system.

Every finished job triggers an automatic, human-sounding follow-up through your CRM. Happy customers post; unhappy ones reply to you privately instead of going public. That's the whole trick.

Ecommerce trust lives on Google and Trustpilot — and product reviews on your own store, which I wire into schema so AI can read your ratings.

Step 04 · Your AI visibility

Someone in Charlotte is asking AI this exact question.

Not a hypothetical — a real query type, every day. The answer depends entirely on whether your business is structured so AI can find and verify it.

What running a store teaches you

The parts of a store that break — and how yours won't.

Building a Shopify store is the easy half. I know because I run several every day. My day job is a $2M-a-year store for a 300-person American textile manufacturer, 1,000+ SKUs, wholesale dealers and retail customers checking out on the same store with different pricing. The AI chatbot, the product finder and the store locator on it are tools I built. I also co-own Charlotte Mobility in Fort Mill, where scooter rentals, online sales and the in-store register run on one Shopify inventory — so a scooter rented on the website isn't sold at the counter an hour later.

What that experience changes about the store I build for you is the boring stuff. Tax settings that get tested with real orders before launch, not discovered in an audit. Abandoned-cart, post-purchase and win-back emails wired before launch, because those automated flows quietly do 20–30% of a store's revenue and "phase two" never comes. A Google Shopping feed set up correctly the first time. Product data structured so Google — and increasingly AI assistants — can read what you sell and recommend it, not just your homepage.

And if you're moving from Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce or an old theme: products, customers and order history come over where the platform allows an export, and every old URL gets a 301 redirect, so the rankings you've built don't reset to zero on launch day. That's the step most migrations skip and most store owners don't find out about until the traffic graph drops. The full build, the $375/mo keep-alive itemized, and the questions everyone asks are on the Shopify web design page.

  • B2B and retail on one store. Wholesale pricing for dealers, normal checkout for customers, one inventory. I run this today.
  • Email flows before launch. Abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back — the 20–30% of revenue most stores leave off.
  • Migration with redirects. Products, customers, orders where exportable, and a 301 from every old URL.
  • Custom tools where apps fall short. Product finders, AI chat trained on your catalog, store locators, rental booking — and honesty about when an app is the smarter buy.
  • Product data AI can read. Structured catalogs so assistants can recommend your products, not just say you exist.

Straight answers

Ecommerce & Retail questions, answered in plain English.

Why hire one person instead of an agency?

One build at a time — your project gets my full attention, not a junior team juggling twelve accounts. One invoice: no payroll, no benefits, no agency markup, and you can cancel anytime. I'm local to Charlotte — not an agency reselling your project overseas. You get the agency-style website at about half the agency price.

Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom?

Shopify, almost always. I run $2M through it daily — it's boring, reliable, and your store shouldn't be an experiment.

What does an ecommerce build cost?

$6,000+ depending on catalog and custom tooling, with a $375/mo keep-alive. Published like everything else.

Can you set up wholesale and retail on the same Shopify store?

Yes. Wholesale pricing for approved dealers and normal retail checkout for everyone else, on one store with one inventory — it's the exact setup I run daily for a manufacturer selling both ways. It's the reason a 300-person company doesn't need two websites.

Can you move my store from Wix, Squarespace or WooCommerce to Shopify?

Yes: products, customers, and order history where the platform lets it out, plus a 301 redirect from every old URL so your rankings survive launch day. The redirects are the part most migrations skip, and the reason a lot of "new site" traffic graphs drop off a cliff.

Do you set up Google Shopping?

Yes, as part of the build — Merchant Center connected and the product feed configured correctly the first time, so your products appear where people search to buy. It's also the feed that a lot of AI shopping answers draw from, which is a quiet reason to get the product data right.
