Emergency searches convert in minutes or not at all. Click-to-call above the fold, service pages that load instantly, and a Google profile that answers before your competitors wake up.
This is the shape of a HVAC company build — fast, focused, wired to convert. It's a demo I made so you can see it, not a template I resell. Yours gets your work, your prices, your neighborhood.

"AC died at 9pm in July. They were here by 10:30. Saved us."
Owner reply, same day: That's what the night line is for, Sandra.
Photos fresh, services listed, hours never stale, every review answered — usually same day. And the part most people miss: an actively maintained profile is one of the three signals AI engines check before they'll say your name out loud.
Every finished job triggers an automatic, human-sounding follow-up through your CRM. Happy customers post; unhappy ones reply to you privately instead of going public. That's the whole trick.
Emergency customers only read Google. Planned-replacement customers read everything — Angi and Yelp included. Both buyer types get covered.

Sleeping cooler, Sandra?
Glad we could get the system back up last night. If the response was worth it, a review helps the next family with a dead AC find us fast.

Not a hypothetical — a real query type, every day. The answer depends entirely on whether your business is structured so AI can find and verify it.

An HVAC lead in Charlotte in July is a person with a phone in one hand and a thermostat reading 84 in the other. They search "AC repair near me," and they call the first business that looks real and answers. That's the entire funnel. The site's job is to be that business: number tappable in the first inch of the screen, "emergency" and "same day" in words not icons, a service page for each thing you fix so "heat pump not cooling" lands on a page about heat pumps, and a load time under a second because they're on a parking-lot signal.
Then the two places above the organic results. The map pack — three businesses, chosen mostly by reviews, proximity and an active Google profile — and the Google Ads units at the very top: search ads for "AC repair Charlotte" and the pay-per-lead Local Services Ads that say "Google Verified." For HVAC specifically, those units take a big share of the emergency calls, and your cost per lead in them is set by your review rating and how fast you pick up. A company at 3.8 stars pays more for the same call than a company at 4.8. So the review system isn't a nice-to-have here; it's what makes the ads affordable.
The seasonal part: Charlotte has two emergency seasons (late June through August, and the first cold snap in November) and two quiet ones. The businesses that win are the ones whose maintenance-plan and tune-up pages are live and ranking in the quiet months, so the phone rings in April and October too — and whose ad budget goes up the week the heat arrives, not the week after.

What's in Get Found, month by month: the Get Found page.
One build at a time — your project gets my full attention, not a junior team juggling twelve accounts. One invoice: no payroll, no benefits, no agency markup, and you can cancel anytime. I'm local to Charlotte — not an agency reselling your project overseas. You get the agency-style website at about half the agency price.
Most trade sites are franchise templates with the name swapped. I build pages per service per area with real structure — and I publish my prices, which tells you how I operate.
The site helps immediately (speed, conversion); rankings compound over months. Anyone promising page one in two weeks is lying to you.
Both, in that order, if the budget allows. Ads — search plus Local Services Ads — make the phone ring this month, and in HVAC the cost per lead is set largely by your review rating. Get Found makes the free leads compound over the following months. I run both for a flat fee, ad spend on your card, and the review work is shared so you never pay for it twice.
The "Google Verified" units at the very top of the results for trades like HVAC and plumbing, where you pay per lead instead of per click. For emergency searches they take a big share of the calls. Google verifies your license and insurance, and your rank in them depends heavily on your rating and how fast you answer — which is why reviews get managed alongside the ads.
Pages for the work that happens in the off-season: tune-ups, maintenance plans, duct cleaning, indoor air quality, water heaters. Live and ranking before April and October, not during. Plus a Google profile that stays active when the emergencies stop — that's when most companies go quiet and lose the map-pack slot.
